Everyone, we mean everyone turned out for our annual holiday fest!
.

"Come one, come all": the word was out that an extraordinary event was taking place. City Council Representative, Brad Lander and Borough President Marty Markowitz joined Fm 101in celebrating FIDO In Prospect Park's annual Howl-a-Day gathering. But the real guests of honor were our four-footed companions, dressed in their winter finery....

Young and old became "pointers for the day; their noses thrust forward, truer than any mariner's compass.

Hot coffee; mulled cider...hot chocolate and more...
.

The songbook dedication proposed "... a toast to our dogs, for without them we would all sleep late, never knowing the seasons."

Each and every dog whispered their holiday wishes to Santa....

Stalwart Santa's helper, Geena DiBenetto has seemingly anticipated their requests, with a bag of chewbone and biscuit treats.
Special thanks go to Betty Schwartz Dowling for pulling loose ends together and acting as Santa's official photographer; Paul Kowacki, who outdid himself as Santa this year; Buddy & Tina DeBenedetto and family for tables wrangling and helping Santa; Steve Stern, coffee maker without equal; Connie Marder, mulled cider maker without equal; John Cummins & Debra Siner, mystery brew makers; Stuart Seit, Maître d; Lyn Radov and Gary Osgood for doing what you do best with Calendars and Membership; Jane Landis for leading the choir; Tony Chiappelloni, inspiration to us all.... did we miss anyone?
